In the first episode we find the Tiger – Tome Filip vs the Bleak City Saint – Aiden Miller.
Tiger Tome Filip is trapped. Everyone wants more of the same. The more he tries to give people their dose of the same, the more he loses sense of what it is he wants to achieve in wrestling. The Tiger is a superficial man. Caught up in appearances, will his vanity work for or against him? What do I mean? There’s a certain amount of pride which comes with presenting yourself like the Tiger. When pride is on the line in wrestling people will do extrodinary things in order to win and protect that image/appearance.
The Bleak City Saint understands what wrestling has become. Instead of brown nosing his way into some of the more notoriously commercial ( exposure friendly ) federations in Australia he prefers to slum it up and enjoy more freedom in the less governed promotions.
